Johnny Oshika is a serial entrepreneur and software developer with a strong passion for creating great software. Johnny has co-founded 4 companies in his career - 2 have been acquired and 2 are still operating.
Johnny’s career started as a mechanical engineer, designing precision components that aligned optics in sub-micron space. His career has spanned from technical roles to leadership and from small start-ups to large publicly traded companies. All these stepping stones led to his true calling: writing software that leads to great products. He’s doing exactly that at EXAMIND, where he’s excited about disrupting the ed tech space and tackling the problems surrounding academic integrity.
On a personal level, Johnny is a loving father and husband. The family enjoys home exchanges all over the world, and hope to return to this style of travel once the world opens up again. He’s also an avid mountain biker and runner: 2020 was a banner year as he clocked 209 rides and 114 runs!
